SKYSCRAPERS ...ALL ON FIRE

Used to be a zine, then the web happened.
The ‘Blrserker* award of the day goes to http://theunseenempire.tumblr.com/ - thanks so much for flipping through the archives, I always love to see that string of likes; I appreciate knowing that someone has taken the time to visit my archive, rather than just “likeing” whatever happens to scroll past their newsfeed at that moment. You rock! :D
(* ‘Blrserker: definition - one who likes/reblogs many posts from the same blog at a time.) :)

Is there not something vaguely Lynchian about these gifs by http://thedfl.tumblr.com? They always make me think of the shuffling sound that The Man From Another Place makes just before he utters his famous line, “Let’s rock!”, which is to say they’re as enigmatic and surreal as they are stylish.

Just arrived: the “Creating Old Media with New Media” issue of Pixelated zine, by Brandy Erdmann, featuring some of my work. The concept behind this edition was “to create a form of old media, the zine, from new media sources, Tumblr and Twitter.” I love the cover and there is some great work inside; I particularly enjoyed the photos by Lydia Henderson (fluorescent lights and phone booths? Yes, please!) You can purchase copies here.

[Addendum: I was so excited to share that I forgot to say thanks, Brandy!]
